Every year, the city of Valencia celebrates the last days of winter and the arrival of spring with spectacular fireworks displays. From March 15 to 19 (the feast of Saint Joseph, Father's Day throughout the country), Valencia is devoted to a carnival of bonfires, fiesta, fireworks and a healthy dose of satire known as Las Fallas , the fires.
